How to Reach Mousuni Island

🚆 By Train:

First, you need to reach Namkhana Railway Station.
From there, take a Toto (e-rickshaw) or Magic Van to cross the Hatania-Doania River (a bridge is now available).
Then, travel to 7 Mile or 10 Mile Bazaar.

Alternative Route:
After reaching Namkhana, take a bus from Bakkhali Bus Stand and get down at 7 Mile or 10 Mile Bazaar.
From there, take a Toto (e-rickshaw) to Hujuter Ferry Ghat (via 7 Mile) or Patibunia Ferry Ghat (via 10 Mile).

  • From Hujuter Ferry Ghat, take a Toto (e-rickshaw) to Baliara Beach.
  • From Patibunia Ferry Ghat, take a local Toto (e-rickshaw) to Baliara Beach.

🏍️ By Bike:

After crossing Namkhana / Hatania-Doania River, take a right turn from 7 Mile (14.4 KM) or 10 Mile (16 KM).

  • Via 7 Mile: Hujuter Ferry Ghat → Baliara Beach (30-minute ride).
  • Via 10 Mile: Patibunia Ferry Ghat → Baliara Beach (15-minute ride).

🚗 By Car:

After crossing Namkhana / Hatania-Doania River, take a right turn from 7 Mile (14.4 KM) or 10 Mile (16 KM).

  • From Hujuter Ferry Ghat: 30-minute Toto (e-rickshaw) ride to Baliara Beach.
  • From Patibunia Ferry Ghat: 15-minute local motor van or Toto (e-rickshaw) ride to Baliara Beach.

🚌 By Bus:

Take a government bus from Kolkata to Bakkhali and get down at 7 Mile or 10 Mile Bazaar.
From there, take a Toto (e-rickshaw):

  • Via Hujuter Ferry Ghat: 30-minute Toto ride to Baliara Beach.
  • Via Patibunia Ferry Ghat: 15-minute motor van or Toto ride to Baliara Beach.
